Wild Edible Plant Walk

April 24 @ 9:00 am - 12:00 pm

Plant walks take you outside and urge you to take a closer look at the amazing diversity of plants growing all around us. Join Zac Gibson on this walk to identify and learn about some of the edible wild plants we can find in our nearby nature.

This walk for adults will cover a distance of about one mile, including a hill. Please wear sun protection and shoes that you don’t mind getting wet. Bring water, a small backpack, a notebook and pen or pencil, and a camera.

Zac Gibson has been studying primitive and wilderness skills for 20+years his favorites being: edible and medicinal plants, primitive pottery and flintknapping. He has studied under some of the leading edible plant experts. He loves spending time in the outdoors foraging wild edibles, spending time tending his garden and sharing his love of nature with others.
